    I am amazed at how the mayor is there for equal rights yet mocks the christians of spartanburg many times. . . . . . . I guess their opinion doesnt matter. Very equal I must say

    • Actually, he only mocks the protesters, not “Christians.” They’re religious extremists who, if you watch their comments in last week’s City Council coverage, believe that America was founded as a theocracy and should be subject to religious law over civil law. They’re closer to the Taliban than anything I’d call “Christian,” at least in the political sense.

      Junie did the right thing. I’d mock the hell out of the KKK if they showed up at a civil rights rally. It’s no different.

      • Absolutely, there are tons of Christians who don’t finger point and damn people. Actually, I was under the impression that Christianity was based on that very principle. “He who is without sin, cast the first stone.” I mean, that’s the Christianity that I was taught.
