Some of the biggest stories in local sports don’t occur during the game. Case in point, every local football aficionado had been waiting with baited breath to hear Byrnes’ star running-back Marcus Lattimore’s decision on whee he was planning to spend his college days. SEC analyst Jay Holgate posted this video, where Lattimore sends the hometown crowd into a frenzy by announcing his choice, the University of South Carolina.

Have you ever wondered how state of the art Spartanburg Regional Medical Center’s wound care center was? Probably not, but just in case you have, here’s a PR piece masquerading as a news report to tell you all about it.

If it weren’t for things being funny in ways they were never intended to be, this whole “Internet” thing might never have caught on. So where’s the unintentional humor in a white, Christian hip-hop remix of a portly Baptist pastor’s sermon? If you have to ask, you’ll never understand.
