New Spark Schwag

Now that we have a spiffy new logo (courtesy of local designer Stephen Long), it’s high time we starting showing it off. And what better way to do that than to suggest you buy some stuff with the logo on it from our online store. Although we’ve had an online store for a year or so, we haven’t been updating it with new logos. As a result, no one bought anything, and I can’t say I blame them. Who wants to wear a crappy logo and have to pay for the privilege of doing so?

Unlike our earlier strategy of pricing things well beyond what a reasonable person would pay in the hopes that someone out there might think a $40 sweat shirt was a bargain, we’ve switched to a new idea of marking everything up exactly $1 above the CafePress minimum. That means that $15.99 t-shirt is only a buck more than we’d pay if we bought it at cost. We’re not going to get rich from this, obviously, but if you like what we do here, please consider buying something from the shop as a means of showing your support.

There’s a nice selection of items to browse from, ranging from clothes and hats to coffee mugs and stickers. For those of you who have been reading us since the early days and want to feel all nostalgic about those wonderful days of late 2008, we’ve also included a small line of items with the original SpartanburgSpark.com logo.
