Thursday is the traditional day for our “Tell us about your weekend plans” question, but given that New Year’s Eve is on Thursday, it seems like we should really get a jump on the subject and ask a day ahead of schedule.

So, what are your plans for Thursday evening? Surely there are some parties on your radar. And how will you spend the weekend?

Typically, I’d have some kind of plan worked out already, just so that no one else had to break the ice with their plans. But, after poking around a little on the various local calendars, I’m having trouble finding the right party to attend. Sure, I have all of the events on the music calendar to consider, but none are really jumping out at me.

The rest of the weekend isn’t much better. I have vague plans to swing by the Crescent Gallery on Thursday afternoon, since that’s their last day, but beyond that I have no plans.

I need your help, clearly. Any ideas?

  1. I am the worst one to suggest any plans, cause I have zero plans, nothing, zip! I even get off work at 4.

On the plus side. Lame little ole me will NOT be hung over come Friday.

yay! ok people! get on it! So far me and my honey have thought up Ground Zero, TGIFridays in greenville or just staying home and making our own little celebration. If I spend new years at tgif’s I think I will die. ( but there’s free dessert!….)I NEED to know the what when’s and where’s of s-burg.

C Edward Cigars is having a new years party. $25 rsvp gets you access to the open bar all night and a HUGE buffet selection from the Brassarie I believe it’s from. Its pricy but absolutely worth every penny.

I throw a party every year. Expecting 40-50; hard to trust evite RSVPs. I invited some Spark folk but so far no rsvp from staff members.
It’s sucked prepping for a Thursday night party, especially with the day job. At least it’s a nice long recovery/clean up weekend!
