Another Spartanburg freerunning video? With some Williamston and Pelzer action too? And with sound this time? Can I get a w00t? (Or at least an insurance waiver?)

I’m not sure why a local dance troupe would name themselves Another Bad Creation, since that’s the name of a not-exactly unknown hip-hop act from the early 1990s, and “bad meaning good” went out of style around the time parachute pants were coming in, but it happened. At least they can dance, though.

I’ve never previously heard of Peebah Club in Spartanburg, but this video seems to think it exists. What’s more, I have no idea what’s going on here other than this being a dance mix of the song “Jai Sung Ma” (which evidently means something like “My Heart Ordered to Come”) by Thai musician Sek Loso. I’m guessing that Spartanburg’s significant Hmong population are holding out on us when it comes to the cool places to get one’s groove on. C’mon and share, people!

And since it’s the holidays, I believe I’m legally required to include a holiday music video. Here’s a snippet from the performance of Handel’s Messiah as performed at the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra’s Christmas 2009 concert, and recorded by John Watson Video.

That’s it for this week. If you know of a cool, recently uploaded local video I missed, feel free to leave a link to it in the comments.
