More co-operative grocery action than you can shake a stick at!

For those of you who have been following the evolution of the Hub City Co-op from good idea to actually-looking-like-it’s-really-going-to-happen store, you’ll be heartened to know that the group now has a brand-new website to replace their static information page (which, as long as we’re on the subject, replaced their free blog page, which supplemented their Facebook page). Although it’s still a bit light on content, the site does have more information and features placeholders for features yet-to-come (such as a calendar).

This couldn’t happen here,,,or could it?

Check out this girl’s experience at one of the oldest coops in America.

After looking at the dismal membership numbers of the hubba bubba coop, I plan to sign up on Monday. 35 members???? Come on people.

One dollar a week for 3 years? I will forgo one snickers bar per week to fund my membership. I wonder if the membership card will indicate my early support?

    Real support. Not lip service.
