I’ll start …
Thursday: The wife is out having dinner with her family, so I’ll probably end up writing or listening to some music or something. There’s a slim chance I’ll watch the notoriously bad 70′s horror film The Car, which was recommended to me by NetFlix because I liked Grindhouse: Planet Terror. Should be a laugh at least.
Friday: Listening Party, then freelance stuff until the evening. Friday night, there’s a Poetry Slam at Rock Water Tavern, and I may go to that. The last one was pretty good, although only a “slam” in a kind of loose sense. (I grew up being around poetry slams, so I’m kind of snob about them at times.)
Saturday: No concrete plans beyond some freelance stuff and Blog Report. Maybe the Farmers’ Market in the morning. I think some house tidying is planned for the afternoon. No plans for the evening.
Sunday: I may try to make it out to the Junie White Meet & Greet at Duncan Park. I know Councilman White entirely by reputation, and it’d be good to get a feel for his personality. John Scoggin is the featured performer at the Sunday Songwriter’s Showcase at Sonny’s Brick Oven Pizza that night, so I may swing by for his set. Beyond that, no real plans.
Do you see how easy it would be to trump my humble … nay, my pathetic weekend plans? A James Brolin movie from the ’70s, some mopping and a bunch of things I may go to? You can do better, I’m sure.
So let’s hear it!

My band, Inhibit, is actually playing at Elmo’s bar in Tryon Saturday night at 9.
We do a lot of 90′s rock cover songs.
come and check us out.

Well I officially have nothing real special going on this weekend until Sunday when I play @ Sonny’s! Come one, come all! Otherwise I will be chilling with friends and family. Steve introduce yourself if you make it Sunday.
Tonight – a little shopping for camping supplies then the usual HT to watch Mr 303 eat nasty oysters with our friends.
Friday – helping with some planning and yard work at a non-profit after work
Sat – 8a-noon helping with a garage sale at Madison’s House – - – almost everything $1 100 Oak Ridge Dr
afternoon – just chillin’
evening – surprise birthday party
Sunday – blessed quietness – in my dreams!
Today…wait to hear back from workman’s comp insurance, cause Yep! Sylvie injured her back at work the other day…still will be working, just stiff and sore. Good thing I can ask for help if I need it, bending over sinks to shampoo is a bit problematic right now.
Saturday…Of course my book is slammed. hair hair and more hair..Aleve is a good thing, as I am sure I won’t be 100% yet. Then maybe try to find some good food and a RJ Rockers brew to take home
Sunday…Church, then spending time with the family, especially as son-in-law has left for basic training at Ft. Jackson. My daughter missed him fiercely and he’s only been gone a week.
