Each week, I play the exploring scientist, wading into the goopy swamp of recently uploaded local videos on YouTube, and returning with a strange collection of samples. This week, however, I’m turning the tables and asking you to explore around a little.
Click here for the search results of videos tagged with “Spartanburg” posted in the last week.
When you find a video you like, leave a comment explaining what the video is and why you like it (or dislike it), making sure to post the URL to the video as well.

As a self proclaimed youtube addict myself, I’ll gladly take up the torch of a view and review on what’s up this week in the local youtube people zoo.
What first caught my eye was some crazy critter, a ferret named Jordan. The Alive and Well Animal Rescue center in Boiling Springs teamed up with GoUpstate on their Pet of the Week spot in hopes to find a home for the little fella. The website is http://www.aliveandwellanimalrescue.com
..and be sure to check out Jordan the lovable little ferret on this video:

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Spartanburg posted a spectacular two part video covering the Upstate Pride parade. It really captures the feel of the march, from protesters on their curb side soapboxes, to great clips of speakers and the live music. Very well done.

The VisitSpartanburg youtube channel posted a couple great little videos of Brad Steineke, with the Spartanburg Historical Society, showcasing the history tours of downtown of which he guides. Looks like something interesting and fun to do with an afternoon.

.. For an OMFG, WTF? moment of vocoder crazy crunk up Spartanburg county retro looking rap videos, I may or may not suggest this little diddy, “HOLLA AT CHA” by A’ru featuring Ya Boy T.

Well, last but not least, I get to see all the fun I missed at the recent Music Farm festival, hosted by members of the Belleville Outfit. So here they are jamming out the song, “Somebody Like You” on the second night of the event.
