Each week, we post a round-up of what happened on the local blogosphere, hoping to educate readers about their online community. This week, however, we’re changing things up a bit.

Starting today, and running until next Saturday, we’ll be accepting nominations for the very first Sparkle City Blogger Awards. These awards are for outstanding blogging in the Spartanburg area, and are in a number of categories. Once we have nominations, I’ll put up a poll so that we can all vote on the best of the local blogs.

To qualify, the blog must be based in the Spartanburg area. For reference on local blogs, please refer to the Sparkle City Blogs website. For obvious reasons, SpartanburgSpark.com and SparkleCityBlogs.com are not eligible for nomination. Please post your nominations by copying the text below, pasting it into the comments field, and filling it out there. You may nominate your own blog.
