Owing to the Christmas holiday, there will be no Listening Party today. The local music column will return next week. In the interim, feel free to post suggestions for Spartanburg-area bands you’d like to see covered in the comment fields below.

    hey Steve

    I enjoy your reviews and the fact you keep tabs on the local scene which is great.
    I do have a favor, is there anyway my band could be listed on the local events calendar?
    for instance, we have a show this Friday (jan 8th) at PJ’s Bar and Grill at 9 PM
    It would be great to have a little promotion. We play alternative 90’s covers and we have original material as well. Our site is http://www.myspace.com/inhibitband
